Fondée à Philadelphie en 1821, la publication Saturday Evening Post est un incontournable de la culture américaine depuis plus de 200 ans, avec des couvertures conçues par certains des artistes les plus remarquables d'Amérique. Le nom le plus connu est bien sûr Norman Percevel Rockwell. Parmi les autres artistes bien connus, citons notamment JC Leyendecker, Steven Dohanos, Frances Tipton Hunter, Richard Sargent et John Falter.
