condition: Very good to excellent condition; printed in two sections, the Italian 4- sheet (quarto fogli) poster is stored folded and will be shipped folded, in a flat package. With minor edge wear, normal for large paper, the colors are superb, even along the folds.
The design is dynamic; Morini juxtaposes James Montgomery Flagg's (1877–1960) original depiction of Uncle Sam pointing directly at the viewer - one of the most recognized images in the world - against a beautiful blue sky of golden Renaissance angels blowing their trumpets on judgement day. His bold colors and composition are an intense compliment to the film's subject.
