This is the Russian film poster for the film by Soviet film director and screenwriter, Sergei Yutkevich. The art work shows the two leading actors, Sergei Bondarchuk (in the title role as Othello) and Irina Skobtseva (as Desdemona)
Also starring in this adaptation are: Andrei Popov (as Iago), Vladimir Soshalsky, and Yevgeni Teterin
The film was released in the U.S. in 1961 as "William Shakespeare's Othello”.
